This Friesian stallion, from Russia, captured my heart when I discovered a photograph taken by the talented Russian photographer Artur Baboev. I came across the image on various sites online and was immediately captivated by its powerful presence. Driven by a deep admiration for the photograph, I spent a year searching for Artur to seek his permission to paint this remarkable animal. Eventually, through a horse community on Facebook, I connected with someone who knew him. Artur's work is truly stunning, and while Guns is not a wild stallion, he represents a symbol of domestic perfection.
